Revealed for the first time : grumpy Twitter political hack @Shoq sent an illegal recording to a group of people in his inner circle. I have now heard a recording of this conversation and The Trenches will be revealing excerpts from it soon.  As promised in my original post, I was sent this material by a well-known conservative activist and prankster and I have independently verified it with several different sources.

Here’s part of the email that @Shoq sent out to his trusted comrades. The list includes frequent MSNBC guest and scandal ridden former Congressional candidate failure Krystal Ball,  ”moderate Democrat” and former failed California State Senate candidate Gila Jones and Crooks and Liars writer Karoli. The group appears to be a team that @Shoq had put together to attack conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

This is long, and rambling.. and I had to keep dancing to sound like I trust him (sort of), but he’s set himself up now for having to either deliver, or prove that he cannot.

Shoq then reportedly included a Dropbox link with the audio of a phone conversation that he had recorded in violation of Florida’s two-party recording law. This link allowed free access to the audio file that Shoq had created.

All the recipients of the email appear to have been aware that the call was recorded illegally. So far, none of them appear to have stepped forward to assist authorities. I sent an email to all parties on the list asking for comment or denial : nobody on the list went on the record to deny these allegations.
