Schrodinger’s Socks : Neal Blows Another

When quantum mechanics were first getting worked on, some strange ideas took some getting used to. One such idea was that a particle could be in two places at once. A physicist gently mocked the idea with a thought experiment were a cat in a sealed box ended up both alive and dead at the same moment in time. An absurdity.

“Schrodinger’s Cat” was hence adopted in arguments well beyond physics to mock those who are shown to take two different positions at the same time.

Yesterday a Neal Rauhauser sock account became Schrodinger’s Sock as it proved itself to be simultaneously Conservative and Not-Conservative while it attacked a Tea Party leader and Rauhauser victim. Adding to the LULZ, it coughed up some other interesting hairballs as it was confronted.

Neal Haz Teh Socks

Conservatives on twitter are more than used to the idea that there are thousands of sock accounts doing things like getting Rush Limbaugh sponsors to drop his show, advocating in Obama astroturfing campaigns and manufacturing fraudulent block and report for spam to get conservatives thrown in twitterGulag. We live with these hazards every day.

For example – Randy Hahn created “around 1,000 Twitter sock puppet accounts for Matt Edelstein aka @shoq (Randy’s account was suspended shortly after posting that) :

What conservatives aren’t comfortable thinking about is how some supposed conservative accounts are actually sock accounts working for the other team. That discomfort is understandable – in an election year where a failed neo-marxist community organizer is seeking a 2nd term as president, who wants the risk of actual conservatives destroying actual conservatives?

Here is where Neal brags about having many such sock accounts. He flatters himself as a master of Internet disguise but conservatives have been on to him for a while now.

Fortunately for all, when Neal Rauhauser is running such an account it is easy, fun and risk free to track them down and confront them. You see, Neal is a sloppy egotist who thinks he is smarter and more sophisticated than he actually is. When he thinks he is winning (which we at The Trenches allow him to do) he gets real sloppy. He makes some epic errors and takes laughable positions as he thinks he is on a charging stallion when he instead rides the fail pony again and again.

Yesterday this was demonstrated when Neal’s sock account @ConservativeRay decided to press more attacks on Greg W Howard. If you don’t know who Greg is you might want to glance at this, this, this and/or this.  You see, Greg’s life was basically destroyed by Rauhauser over 2 years ago. Rauhauser and the BeanDogs basically terrorized Greg and made his life as a prominent Tea Party leader on twitter a living hell. Along with other early Rauhauser victims, Greg has helped The Trenches turn the spotlight on Neal. So the chance for Neal to attack Greg and The Trenches at the same time while posing as a “real conservative” could not be resisted.

What ended up happening is that “Ray” proved himself another fraudulent account that was part of the WreckingCrew exposed here:

Wrecking Crew started off as a group of about sixty conservatives who banded together in 2008 to push back against the vile left-wing trolls on Twitter. But within one year, Jeannie McBride aka @CouldBeMe7, a determined & resolute Democrat (here), and co-conspirator of Neal Rauhauser, pushed herself into the lead & slowly began attacking its conservative membership from within. Within one year of her taking over the Crew, every single original member left the group in disgust. Some returned to tcot (top conservatives on twitter), while others formed new right-wing groups – like the #Twisters.

What is even more funny are all the other potentially phony accounts that Ray exposed (see the Topsy screenshot of his #WreckingCrew tweets) in the process of adopting the “superposition” as a “real conservative” who isn’t.

The Tweets

Here is a sample tweet where Ray is attacking Greg W Howard Sunday morning.

Ray attacks Greg W Howard and other early Rauhauser / BeanDog victims often and has for a long time:

July 5th, 2012

A month before he links to a Gawker story exonerating Rauhauser for doing anything worse than a prank …

Here in March 2012 Ray tweets another known Rauhauser sock to smear Greg Howard:

That’s right – Ray/Neal deleted that smear because he included the wrong sock account … It can be easy to confuse @MuddleVanHeck with @CouldBeMe7 when you spend the day smearing people from different vantage points.  Fortunately, the tweet is still in Topsy for all of us to enjoy …

If that doesn’t convince you that “Ray” exists to troll Greg W Howard to somehow rehabilitate Neal’s reputation, ask yourself: where you even aware of SWATting / twitterGulag / Neal Rauhauser back in December of last year? Or even TwitterGate?  ConservativeRay was obsessed with it and righting some perceived injustice, as this Google search shows:

The fact that @ConservativeRay has now found an eager audience for his ongoing defense of Neal Rauhauser is a bit strange, but so is the personality that this sock account is defending.

Here is where @ConservativeRay decided to enter my timeline and focus on me …

Ray asserts he is a conservative and I am attacking cons along with the rest of The Trenches – a running narrative these guys have synthesized to exploit the fact that I and others don’t accept Stranahan as a conservative. Stranahan joined Ray’s attacks, btw, but he isn’t the subject of this post.

Notice what he writes and what he wrote last December:  a version of the same narrative – that TwitterGate somehow wronged Neal Rauhauser.  Now he is stretching the narrative to say that TwitterGate was somehow an attack on conservatives.

Here I retweet plenty of Breitbart posters making the same assertion I have – that Ray is a Rauhauser sock.  Kinda hard to drive that wedge with such facts in evidence, isn’t it Neal?  Lulz (especially where the “Conservative” Ray uses LittleGreenFootballs to smear McCain.

Here Ray is confronted with incriminating posts he deleted, so he denies they exist

When the deleted tweets are produced from Topsy (see the Topsy #WreckingCrew tweets below) Ray gins up an excuse.  Here we have Ray making an error mentioning “old account” – I will fully explain why that was an epic error in a future post.  Maybe a handful of readers will recognize the error that was made there – for those readers here are two more caps full of Lulz.

Notice the “birthday” for Ray’s account …

Notice the dates on these #WreckingCrew posts (and partner in crime @CouldBeMe7 while many others get mentioned / compromised) …

If you don’t get what that all means, don’t worry.  You will in a future post.  What matters is that you realize my response got under his skin. Why would pointing out his #WreckingCrew posts predate the “birthday” of his account get under Ray’s skin? Because doing that is an obscure Neal Rauhauser tweet-fu tactic and Ray is Neal Rauhauser.

After that, Ray gets confronted with Rick Santorum and the #WreckingCrew …

With Ray owning his deleted tweets he is inadvertently admitting that the same WreckingCrew that ended up working with the BeanDogs to destroy Greg Howard (and then passed off to the media as a prank campaign – more on that in a future post) sustained attacks on Rick Santorum in the primaries.

Not supporting someone is one thing – smearing him to the point that you are mentioned in his concession speech is another thing.

Yet Ray simultaneously claims cred as a Conservative, a Libertarian and a member of the Neal Rauhauser run smear group. Talk about super-positions.  Three different positions at once – A feat of logic that would even make Schrodingers head hurt.

More Butthurt

Oddly, after Ray decided to stop interacting with me he later decided to team up with Matt Edelstein’s (aka @shoq) sock puppet “@GregWBlowhard” to attack Greg Howard.  @TheBluto intervened and the results weren’t good for Neal and Matt … errrr … Ray and Shoq Blowhard.

So there we have the Neal Rauhauser sock account “ConservativeRay” that has been trying to clear Neal Rauhauser’s name in TwitterGate for years. The ConservativeRay that also attacked Rick Santorum along with the WreckingCrew; who attacked the Tea Party in the 2008 elections; who terrorized Greg Howard and his family; who attacked Stacy McCain with a LittleGreenFootballs smear; who attacks all of the original victims of the BeanDogs and Rauhauser; who teams up with @shoq to attack @TheBluto – that ConservativeRay is now accusing The Trenches of attacking Conservatives – trying to drive that wedge.

Are you buying it?

Keep riding that Fail Pony Neal … um – I mean “Ray.”
