Morality and Our Diseased Republic

Our American Republic is foundering. The electorate is doing this to themselves, unaware of how they have been manipulated and deceived into this action by the progressive/socialists through the twin paths of political corruption and the destruction of the moral basis of our society by the Cultural Marxists.

Political corruption has been with us always and is a consequence of man’s venal nature. There have always been individuals that offer graft/corruption to weak-willed politicians for their own benefit. We call this by a variety of terms, ranging from cronyism to special interests. These weasel words attempt to soften or deflect from the reality of the situation, to lessen what these actions really are: criminal acts designed to subvert the will of the electorate in favor of the interests of the few.

Coupled with the negative effects on our society the Cultural Marxists have been able to secure through their infiltration of our educational system (almost completely in higher education but a seriously dangerous majority in secondary and elementary education as well) and redefinition of our language to fit their agenda. This includes a bias against religious belief in general and Christianity in specific. Without a moral basis or a moral compass, our younger generations are rudderless in a storm-tossed sea. For too long we have allowed our ship of state to leak and take on the water of compromise, of weakness corruption and loss of morality.

It used to be that our strong emphasis on family, God and country acted as the bilge pump and kept our Republic afloat.

No longer!

The erosion of our families, our neighborhoods and towns, our churches, has effectively stopped the bilge pumps and our ship of state is in serious danger of foundering, the waves of socialism and totalitarianism breaking over our bows as we reel from the effects of the last election. Never since the Civil War has our Republic been in such dire straits and I personally believe that never have we been in such danger of the death of our nation, being more degraded than even in the dark days of the Civil War because of the loss of our moral compass.

It is my assertion that the periods of prosperity and relative peacefulness have been during the past century when America was preeminent and possessed both superior military might and moral superiority. Those days are gone through the lack of morality and appeasement. Superior military might is not possible without the morality to wield it decisively and without the will to use it in defense of Liberty for all people.

No other nation can respect us when we vote ourselves bread and circuses and elect spineless appeasers to lead our nation. We have fallen far, the work of craven men who hold their wealth and power above the greater good of the electorate and to whom Liberty is just an empty concept.

As we see demonstrated in this election, the takers hold a slight majority over the givers, the time for a serious consideration of the continued association between the several states regarding the union of said states is needful and relevant. As with a diseased and infected limb beyond saving with medicines, the states that desire diseased politics and a corrupted and entitled citizenry should be amputated to save the body, the believers in morality, hard work and the founders’ ideals of small government and personal Liberty being paramount in all things.
