Meet Ashley, Your New Editor In Awesome
Let me introduce myself. I’m nothing more than a liberty loving, America in my veins, small government, federalist at heart. I write, I organize, I stir the pot, but most of all I believe in the cause with all my heart.
I’ve given my adult (and part of my teenage) life to politics and activism. Being an activist and a writer is just part of who I am. When Brooks and I first met, I was just another kid from LA frustrated that I was another cog in the Conservative minority wheel. He gave me an outlet to vent my frustrations with the suffocating big government ideals that have propelled California into loserdom thru planning the first tea party in LA with a small group of our closest friends. And by the time we planned the second, thousands of other Californians were on board with the vision Brooks, myself, and our close circle of friends had set out to spread among the masses.
The Trenches is more than a blog, news site, or social media landing. It’s a thought process, an ideology, and your one stop shop for all things up to date and relevant. Time to take America by the reins and move her back toward the direction of liberty and freedom. I look forward to presenting commentary and news for our readers to enjoy, share, and agree with. And for the record, I might only 5’2 but no one pushes me around. And I can always be louder than you. Trolls, dolts, trouble makers, and liberals looking not to seek a conservative conversion need not frequent The Trenches. That is unless you’re looking for a major, facts based, smack down.
Pax Vobiscum,
Ashley
