Rand Paul Shines While Michelle Malkin Whines
During Senator Rand Paul’s excellent filibuster today, he used America’s founding principles to reject Obama’s selection of John Brennan as CIA chief, the government’s use of drones, internment, NDAA, and expanded military power in America. In response, Michelle Malkin had this to say:
Lots of cheers for Rand Paul blocking Brennan. But RP explained vote 4 Hagel by saying O has “prerogative” on apptees twitchy.com/2013/02/26/sen…

She’s still whining about the Hagel thing? During a momentous filibuster such as this? Oy vey.
Based on Malkin’s bizarre non sequitur, should we assume that she’s never read George Washington on foreign policy or Federalist Papers 2-5. Malkin’s advocating for a position contrary to the views of founders, with respect to foreign policy, by whining that the evil Hagel person isn’t placing a foreign country on a “favorite nation” pedestal. It’s interesting to watch “conservatives” not conserving America’s founding principles while embracing neocon ideology.
Note how Jason Pye responded to Malkin’s muddled messaging.
@michellemalkin Didn’t you write a book defending internment?

Now that’s a precision drone strike right there, Mr. Pye.
(Yes, she did write a book supporting internment.)
Let’s focus on American liberty above all else when we’re dealing with concerning statements from Obama’s administration wherein they believe they can use the military to kill Americans in America. An “extraordinary circumstance” is too subjective and must be fully renounced.
While America deals with this unconstitutional clumsiness from the Obama administration, Malkin’s “favorite nation” can take care of itself - oh, wait… that nation is on our dime.
